Ingredients:

Thin roasted vermicelli 100 gm
Water 500 ml
Sugar 80 gm
Condensed milk 200 gm or home made rabri 200 gm
Cardamom powder 1 tsp

Memorable Vermicelli

Method:

Preparation of Rabri:
Boil 1 litre of milk with cardamom powder. Allow it to become 200ml. Cool it and add sugar to taste. Keep in freezer for quick cooling.

Preparation of Vermicelli:
Put pan on flame, pour water and sugar. Allow the syrup to boil. Add vermicelli, Keep on flame until it becomes soft, leaving sugar syrup. Take vermicelli out in a bowl and allow it to cool.

Serving: Take bowl, spread sweetened vermicelli and put a layer of Rabri over it.

Note: If condensed milk is to be used, then just soften the vermicelli in boiling water without adding sugar. The amount of sugar to be added can be varied according to the taste. Serve along with lunch & dinner
