Ingredients:

3 Bell peppers
30g sesame seeds
10 cashew nuts
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, finely sliced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp ginger & garlic paste
Salt to taste
Red chili powder to taste
Sufficient oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
1/4 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
2 sprigs curry leaves
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Masala Bell Pepper

Method:

For Masala:

     1.  Fry sesame seeds and cashew nuts till they become light brown.
     2.  Now mix sesame seeds, cashews, onion, green chili together and grind to paste. Keep this

    paste aside.
     3.  Now Cut Bell pepper into very large pieces and cut tomatoes into small pieces.

For curry:

  1. Heat oil in the vessel, after oil is heated add cumin and mustard seeds.
  2. Add few onions (optional), ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and curry leaves. Fry nicely.
  3. Now add bell pepper pieces and fry till they become tender. Now add masala which is ground to paste.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, salt and red chili powder to taste. Keep on low flame till it cooks well.
  5. Add coriander powder and garam masala powder in the end. Add coriander leaves for garnishing.
