Ingredients:

Maize (not fully developed) - 500gms
Green chilies 4-5
Salt
Haldi (turmeric) powder
Black pepper powder
Jeera (cumin seeds)
Rai (mustard seeds)
Garlic cloves 6-7
Dhania (coriander) powder - 1 tsp.
Rice (kept in water for wetting)
Oil 4-5 big spoons

Makki Ka Pakoda

Method:
  1. Wash the maize and grind along with rice (already wet) with jeera, black pepper, rai (mustard seeds) and garlic.
  2. Now add haldi & dhaina powder with salt according to taste. Cut green chilies and make into paste.
  3. Note: The mixture should be thick. Now heat the oil in the kadhai.
  4. After the oil is heated put the paste as small rolls and fry it deeply till the colour turns brown.
  5. Serve with khatti chutney.
    Serves: 9-10
    Preparation time: 30-40 minutes
