| Ingredients: 1/2 cup maida
1/2 cup wheatflour/atta
1/2 cup rice flour
1/2 cup sooji
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 cup oil
Salt to taste
1 teaspoonful red chili powder
1/2 teaspoonful baking powder
1/2 teaspoonful jeera
Oil for deep frying |

Method:
- Mix all the flours, onions, salt, jeera, baking powder, chili powder and make a well in
the center of the mixture.
- Heat 1/2 cup oil and pour into the center of the well. Mix well and cover and keep aside
for 20 minutes. Then divide this mixture into two parts.
- In one half sprinkle water to bind it into a stiff dough. Heat oil in a wok/kadai Make 3
millimeter thick pooris about 4-6inch diameter and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown
and crisp.
- After finishing this, make a stiff dough with the rest of the dry mixture and make
pooris.
- Serve with: Sweet tamarind chutney/coconut chutney
