Ingredients:

Bisquick powder or Jamun mix -1 cup
Shredded cabbage or spinach - 1 cup
Shredded onions - 1 cup
Tomato puree - 1 cup
Salt - 2 tsp
Red chili powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Jeera -1 tsp
Garam Masala powder - 1 tsp
Butter - 2 tsp
Oil for frying
Coriander leaves for garnishing

Kwiky Koftas

Method:
  1. Mix the bisquick mix with the shredded cabbage or spinach. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp chili powder.
  2. Add very little water to make dough. Make small balls out of this mixture. Deep fry these kofta balls and keep aside.
  3. For the gravy, heat a nonstick pan. Add 2 tsp butter and a little oil.
  4. Add jeera. When jeera splutters, add shredded onion and fry till golden brown. Add tomato puree and keep on stirring till the oil separates.
  5. Add some water, salt, and chili powder. Let it boil for 2 minutes. Add Garam Masala. When the mixture thickens, add kofta balls one by one. Koftas become big when submersed in the gravy.
  6. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves. Delicious Kwiky Malai-koftas are ready to savor!!.
  7. Serve hot with hot Chappathis or Puris
    Serves: 4 to 6 people
