Ingredients:
Rice flour - 250 gms
Sugar - 1 cup or Sarakkara to sweeten
Raisins
Salt - ½ tsp
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - one pinch

Kozhikatta

Method:
  1. Heat rice flour in a frying pan to remove the raw smell. Heat a cup of water. Add salt to it. Pour this into hot water little by little to the rice flour.
  2. Mix it while water is pouring. Continue until a smooth dough is formed. Make average size balls with this.
  3. Mix the following ingredients together- grated coconut, cardamom powder, sugar and raisins. This is used for filling inside the balls prepared as above.
  4. Take the ball on wet hand. Press the ball at the center and make a hole into which the sweet filling is to be placed. After it is filled, seal the edges and make a fine ball. 
  5. Make several balls as required and steam it until cooked. Serve hot.
