Ingredients:
Rava (semolina)
Sugar
Elaichi (cardamom) powder
Saffron
Ghee
Cashews and Raisins

Kesaribath

Method:
  1. Add some ghee to the rava and fry it till golden brown and keep it aside.
  2. Put some ghee in the pan and fry cashew and raisins until golden brown.
  3. Pour 3 cups of water into it (the same cup which you measure rava), add saffron or (kesari powder) to the water.
  4. When the water starts boiling add the fried rava to it and keep stirring it and when the rava is cooked add 1 � cup sugar to it and stir it.
  5. Add elaichi powder and a pinch of salt. Mix it well and serve hot.
    Serves: 4
