Ingredients:

Lady fingers 1/2 kg
Curd (yogurt) 2 cups
Coconut grated 1 cup
Red or green chili as per your taste
Jeera 1 tsp.
Channa dal 1 tsp.
Dhania 1 tsp.
Coriander 1/4 cup
Ginger paste 1 tsp.
Mustard seeds 1 tsp.
Curry leaves 2 sprigs
Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp.
Onion finely chopped 1
Tomato finely chopped 1/2
Coriander leaves
Salt as per taste
Oil

Fried Lady Fingers In Curd

Method:
  1. Cut the lady fingers into small pieces and fry in oil till crisp and keep aside.
  2. Whip the curd with turmeric powder and little pepper. Grind grated coconut, chili, jeera, channa dal, dhania, coriander, ginger and keep aside.
  3. Take oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds and curry leaves. When the mustard seeds crackle, add the grounded masala and keep stirring.
  4. Add fried lady’s finger to this masala and sauté well for 5 minutes. Now add the curd, salt to taste and simmer on a low flame for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Finally garnish with chopped coriander, tomato and onion. Serve hot or cold with chapathi, plain or fried rice.
