Ingredients:

2 raw bananas
1/2 kg yellow pumpkin
10 tbsp coconut powder
2-3 dry red chilies
1 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urad dahl
Few curry leaves

Eriseri

Method:
  1. Cut the bananas and pumpkin (after peeling them) into small bite size pieces. Wash them and cook them with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. Grind 2 tbsp of coconut powder with chilies, cumin, pepper powder and a little water.
  3. Put the paste in the cooked vegetables and boil for about 5 minutes.
  4. Fry mustard, urad dahl, remaining coconut powder, curry leaves and garnish the eriseri.
  5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
    Serves: 5
