| Ingredients: 1/2 bowl of green peas
(mutter)
1 bowl of coriander leaves, chopped (dhaniya)
4 cloves of garlic
1 tsp. of ginger paste
1 large green chili
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 tsp. coriander powder
1/2 tsp. red chili powder
1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
A pinch of amchoor powder
4 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tsp. pure ghee
Water for gravy |
Dhaniya Mutter Curry |
Method:
- Grind together coriander leaves, green chili, garlic, ginger paste, salt, turmeric, red
chili, coriander powder into a fine paste.
- Heat oil in pan, fry the ground paste till it leaves oil and water is reduced to nil,
add green peas, fry for 2 minutes.
- Add water to form gravy and let it cook on medium flame for 10 minutes till oil
separates, add amchoor powder, garam masala and pure ghee and stir.
- Serve hot garnished with onion rings and naan/roti.
