Ingredients: 2
cups yellow split peas
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
Salt to taste
For the rotis:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp oil
Pinch of salt |

Method:
- Make the dough by mixing all the ingredients to firm, make balls.
- For filling; boil peas until soft not mushy, add cumin, chili powder, salt and mix well.
- Flatten roti balls and place a small amount of filling in center forming a ball again.
- Roll out on a floured surface, be careful not to break the rotis, bake on flat frying
pan brushing with butter or oil on each side until golden spots begin to appear on rotis.
- Serve with any curry or chutney.
