Ingredients:
Fresh grated coconut
Fried chana dal
Green chilies
Lemon juice
Salt

Coconut Chutney

Method:
  1. Put coconut flakes, green chilies, and chana dal in the mixer. Add little water and grind into paste (semi liquid form).
  2. Add salt and lemon juice. Mix well.
  3. Seasoning: Heat little oil and add black mustard seeds and some kari patta. Pour over the chutney and mix.
  4. Serve with idli, upma or dosas.
    Serves: 4-5
    Preparation time: 10 minutes
