Ingredients:

1 whole chicken skinned, cut into small pieces
2 onions chopped
3 green chilies chopped
3 tomatoes chopped finely
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tsp garam masala
3 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 tsp paprika
15 cashews ground
2 cups chicken stock
1/2 cup plain yogurt
Fresh coriander for garnishing

Chicken In Cashew Sauce

Method:
  1. Blend the cashews into a fine paste in a blender.
  2. Heat oil in a big vessel, add the chopped onions, green chilies and fry until they turn golden.
  3. Add the ginger garlic paste. Add the curry powder, garam masala, paprika, salt, turmeric, the cashew paste and cook for 5 minutes stirring, until the oil appears.
  4. Add the chicken stock and simmer for 3 minutes. Stir in the yogurt, tomatoes and chicken, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes, until the chicken is tender.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander. Serve hot with pulav, plain rice and chapati.
    Serves: 6
