Moong Dhal 1cup
Cabbage finely cut 1 cup
Carrot cut into small cubes 1/2 cup
Beans cut into small pieces 1/2 cup
Coconut 1/2 grated
Jeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tbsp
Red chilies 8-10
Mustard seeds, curry leaves and oil for seasoning
Salt to taste
Turmeric

Method:
Wash dhal, add enough water to cook the dhal or cook dhal in the pressure cooker for 3
whistles.
In a pan cook cabbage, carrot and beans together till half cooked.
Grind coconut, jeera & red chilies and mix with the cooked vegetables. Add the
cooked dhal, salt and cook till the raw smell of the coconut goes.
Season with mustard seeds and curry leaves. Serve hot with rice or rotis
