1/2 lb brussels sprouts
1/2 cup onions, cut in the form of rings
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp salt
Oil to fry onion rings and to roast brussels sprouts
1 tsp jeera
Brussels Sprouts With Onion Rings
Method:
Wash and dry the sprouts. Slit open them from the top.
Mix salt, chili powder, garam masala powder and fill inside each sprout.
Apply the remaining powder all over the outside of each sprout. Microwave the sprouts
for 10 mts till they are cooked well.
Heat some oil in a fry pan. Fry the onion rings till they become crisp and golden brown.
Now, keep them aside.
In the remaining oil, add jeera and the cooked sprouts and cook for 2 mts.
Garnish the cooked sprouts with the onion rings just before serving. Serve hot with rice
and chapathis
Note: Frozen onion rings can also be used. These onion rings can be prepared in the
oven.
