| Ingredients: 1 loaf of bread
Ghee for frying bread
1 cup sugar
2 cups of water
Dry fruits (cashews, cardamoms, almonds) |
Bread Halwa |
Method:
- Slice the bread slices in to small pieces.
- Take sufficient ghee, fry the slices till golden brown. Soak excess ghee in the pot.
- Add 2 cups of water, to it add 1 cup sugar and cook till the syrup gets 1 thread
consistency.
- Add dry fruits, add bread slices till they become one homogenous mask.
- Serve hot with garnished dry fruits on top.
