Ingredients:

1 loaf of bread
Ghee for frying bread
1 cup sugar
2 cups of water
Dry fruits (cashews, cardamoms, almonds)

Bread Halwa

Method:
  1. Slice the bread slices in to small pieces.
  2. Take sufficient ghee, fry the slices till golden brown. Soak excess ghee in the pot.
  3. Add 2 cups of water, to it add 1 cup sugar and cook till the syrup gets 1 thread consistency.
  4. Add dry fruits, add bread slices till they become one homogenous mask.
  5. Serve hot with garnished dry fruits on top.
    Serves: a family of 4
