cups whole masoor dal
2 beetroots
500gms mutton
2 onions, chopped
1 tbs ginger garlic paste
2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp haldi powder
2 tsp dhania powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
2 tomatoes, chopped

Method:
- Boil dal with salt and haldi. Boil beetroot and cut in halves.
- Next heat oil and fry chopped onion till brown. Add mutton and ginger garlic paste and
fry.
- Then add all spices, tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are pulpy and oil separates. Cover
and cook till mutton is done.
- Then add the dal, beetroot, salt and 2 cups of water and cook on slow fire for 15
minutes.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with rotis, bread or boiled rice.
Serves: 4-5 persons
