2 pounds of spareribs (choose short boned ribs,
if possible)
For the barbecue sauce:
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons of Soya sauce
1 tablespoon of sherry
3 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of chicken broth
1 tablespoon of oil

Method:
Remove
fat from the ribs and trim the ribs neatly. Leave the sheet of
ribs in 1 or 2 pieces but cut halfway between each rib.
Combine
all remaining ingredients. Pour sauce ingredients over the ribs
and allow the ribs to marinate for 3 hours. Turn the ribs every
hour.
Place
the ribs on a foil-covered rack and roast for 45 minutes in a
400 degree oven.
