Ingredients:
2 pounds of spareribs (choose short boned ribs,
if possible)
For the barbecue sauce:
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons of Soya sauce
1 tablespoon of sherry
3 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon of honey
1 tablespoon of chicken broth
1 tablespoon of oil

Barbecued Spareribs

Method:
  1. Remove fat from the ribs and trim the ribs neatly. Leave the sheet of ribs in 1 or 2 pieces but cut halfway between each rib.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients. Pour sauce ingredients over the ribs and allow the ribs to marinate for 3 hours. Turn the ribs every hour.
  3. Place the ribs on a foil-covered rack and roast for 45 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
  4. Serve immediately with Chinese Stir-fry.
