Ingredients:

175g flour
75g butter
75g sugar
3/4g apples cleaned & sliced into 2.5cm pieces
100g sugar
Juice of one orange
1-2 cloves

Apple Crumble

Method:
  1. To prepare the topping, sift flour in bowl. Add butter and rub well with hand until mixture resemble fine breadcrumbs.
  2. Mix in the sugar. Put apple in a deep oven proof dish. Stir in all remaining ingredients with a spoon.
  3. Sprinkle the prepared topping over the apple mixture and bake in fairly hot oven (200�C-400�F or gas mark 6) for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and filling soft when pierced with skewer.
  4. Serve with hot custard.
    Serves: 5
    Preparation time: 15 minutes
