Ingredients:

2 cups rice
1/3 cup of whole masoor daal
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 onion sliced
Salt
Ghee or oil

Agus Pulao

Method:
  1. Boil the daal with salt. When slightly soft, drain it and keep aside.
  2. In a dish, heat ghee or oil and add sliced onions; slightly brown.
  3. Then add ginger garlic paste, stir. Add rice and salt, put water and cook.
  4. When water is almost dried add the daal and mix it with rice.
  5. Cover and put on dum for 15 minutes. Serve with raita or chicken in green masala.
    Serves: 2
