Ingredients: 2
cups rice
1/3 cup of whole masoor daal
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 onion sliced
Salt
Ghee or oil |
Agus Pulao |
Method:
- Boil the daal with salt. When slightly soft, drain it and keep aside.
- In a dish, heat ghee or oil and add sliced onions; slightly brown.
- Then add ginger garlic paste, stir. Add rice and salt, put water and cook.
- When water is almost dried add the daal and mix it with rice.
- Cover and put on dum for 15 minutes. Serve with raita or chicken
in green masala.
