| Ingredients: 2 cups rice
1/2 cup butter
1 cup chopped onions
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup toasted & chopped almonds
1 bay leaf
2 tsp lemon juice
1 cup raisins
4 tbsp of any curry
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup béchamel sauce |
Curried Almond Rice |
Method:
- Melt butter and saute chopped onions. To this, add chicken broth, bay leaf, curry, rice
lemon juice and raisins. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add water , cover the pan and cook until the rice gets cooked. When rice is cooked, add
almonds and stir in slowly.
- Place on a serving plate, cover with béchamel sauce and garnish with sliced almonds.
