| Ingredients: 1/2 lb lean ground beef
1 1/2 cups canned pinto beans, drained
1 tbsp cooking oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tsp minced garlic
1 jalapeno chili, seeded & minced
1 can (14.5 oz) cut tomatoes
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp dried oregano |
Cowboy Chili

Method:
- Heat oil in the pot until hot. Add onion, garlic, and chili; cook for 1 minute. Add beef
and cook for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Add undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, chili powder, cumin, and oregano; cover and
cook for 10 minutes.
- Add beans; cover and cook for another 5 minutes.
Serves: 4-6
