| Ingredients: 1 cup dried red beans
1 tbsp Soya sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
1 cup any stock
2 cakes tofu
2 tbsp oil
1 green onion, chopped
1 tsp garlic, chopped
1 green chili, sliced
1 tbsp salted black beans
1 tsp black pepper |
Black Beans With Bean Curd

| Method: 1. Soak dried beans.
Boil until tender. Drain & mash.
2. Stir sugar & Soya sauce into the stock & mix with
mashed beans. Cut tofu into small cubes.
3. Heat oil & stir-fry green onions, garlic & chili for
30 seconds.
4. Add black beans, tofu & mashed red beans. Cook gently for
5 minutes.
5. Sprinkle with pepper & serve. |
