Ingredients:

100 gm bird’s nest (a gelatin-like substance)
1 cup chicken, minced
2 egg whites
1 tbsp corn flour, mixed in little water
1/2 litre chicken stock
1/2 litre bone stock
1/4 tsp MSG
Salt & pepper to taste

Bird's Nest Soup

Method:
  1. Soak bird’s nest in boiling water for 4-5 hours. Drain out water.
  2. Add a cupful of hot water to the bird’s nest, and simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Beat egg whites well and add minced chicken. Keep aside.
  4. Add chicken and bone stock to the bird’s nest and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Mix in the egg whites and chicken mince mixture. Add corn flour and cook until the mixture thickens.
  6. Add seasoning and serve.
