100 gm birds nest (a gelatin-like
substance)
1 cup chicken, minced
2 egg whites
1 tbsp corn flour, mixed in little water
1/2 litre chicken stock
1/2 litre bone stock
1/4 tsp MSG
Salt & pepper to taste
Bird's Nest Soup
Method:
Soak birds nest in boiling water for 4-5 hours. Drain out water.
Add a cupful of hot water to the birds nest, and simmer on low heat for 10-15
minutes.
Beat egg whites well and add minced chicken. Keep aside.
Add chicken and bone stock to the birds nest and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Mix in the egg whites and chicken mince mixture. Add corn flour and cook until the
mixture thickens.
