Feature: Good Eating Habits
If you think just eating selective food will keep you healthy, think again. The way we eat influences our health, even more than the foods we choose to eat. Which is why we should try to develop good dietary habits as early as possible.
Don't let your emotions eat : Our emotions strongly influence our eating behaviour. Some of us eat when upset or depressed; others cannot eat at all in this condition. But to maintain a more balanced diet, and thus a more balanced life, we need to learn to deal with our emotional states in ways other than with food.

Cooking For Health: Fish - Health Benefits
Food fads come and go, but it is widely accepted that including fish in our diet is good for our health. Fish is a good, low fat, source of protein and vitamins. Indeed, evidence suggests that eating more fish can reduce our chances of heart disease.
The nutritional attributes of fish do vary from fish to fish and between preparation methods. So, always read the nutrition labels.

Tip of the week
Cooking:

To get crystal clear ice cubes boil the water before pouring in ice cubes. Those made with plain water are usually foggy or opaque.
Health:
Walking stairs is a great way to burn calories, increase heart rate and build strength. When climbing stairs either on a stair-climbing machine or at the office, try not to lean forward. Staying upright will force your legs to lift the weight of your entire body, providing more resistance and a better 'workout'.

Cookery term
Tongs:

Tool used to grasp and turn foods; usually made of metal with two pieces joined at one end.
