Feature: Good Eating Habits
If you think just eating selective food will keep you healthy, think again. The way we eat influences our health, even more than the foods we choose to eat. Which is why we should try to develop good dietary habits as early as possible.
Never Eat Late : Grandma's habit of eating dinner before sundown is actually a very healthy practice. It is best to eat earlier in the evening, ideally before dark, and not too heavily. You should also engage in some activity, both mental and physical, after dinner; and eat very little in the two or three hours before bedtime. If you have been going to bed on a full stomach, let me tell you it is a very unhealthy practice. The food just sits there, undigested through the night, so that when you wake up you feel full and sluggish. So, to add vitality in your life, start having your meals at the grandma time!

Tip of the week
Cooking:

Pre boiling fruit like grapes, tomato, before making the juice, will keep the juice and water separating in the glass after pouring. The color is also enhanced.
Health:
Do you opt for sorbet instead of indulging in ice cream? If so, don't forget to consider calories into your decision. While sorbets tend to be very low in fat, a single half-cup serving contains about 120 calories. That means over 400 calories for a 16-ounce treat. Remember, choosing a low fat dessert doesn't allow for gigantic portions!

Cookery term
Skewer:

Thin metal or bamboo sticks of various lengths on which pieces of meat, poultry, fish, or vegetables are secured prior to grilling.

Cooking For Health: Tips for Using Tofu
Tofu is for everyone. The soft consistency of tofu and its mild taste make it a perfect food for anyone. It is a good source of protein for elderly people who prefer dishes that are easy to chew and digest. Soft tofu that has been pureed with fruits or vegetables is a good first protein food for infants. Toddlers can enjoy chunks of cooked tofu for snacks or meals.
