Good Eating Habits
If you think just eating selective food will keep you
healthy, think again. The way we eat influences our health, even more than the foods
we choose to eat. Which is why we should try to develop good dietary habits as early as
possible.
Never Overeat : Overeating is one of the most common and dangerous dietary habits.
It often leads to obesity, which is a factor in many other diseases. When you eat more,
the digestive tract and other organs get stressed, which can lead to the overworking and
weakening of those areas. Always eat in moderation. In fact, eating small meals several
times a day instead of one or two large meals is probably better for most people. |

Tip of the week
Cooking:
Sometimes oil begins to foam on heating in deep-frying and rises
dangerously in the pan. To dissipate the foam add a marble sized ball of tamarind to the
oil.
Health:
Besides insomnia, too much caffeine can cause stomach upset, muscle tension
and nervousness. If you think you may be drinking too much caffeine, cut back gradually,
not all at once. Try keeping a journal of all the caffeinated beverages you consume, along
with your 'symptoms' to track any changes.
Cookery term
Marinade:
Seasoned liquid (usually containing an acidic ingredient, such
as vinegar, wine, or citrus juice) in which food soaks, tenderizing it and enhancing
flavor. |
