Grapefruit
Spritzer
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups grapefruit juice
1/4 cup sugar
1 stick of cinnamon
1 can (12 oz) ginger ale, chilled
Ice cubes
Edible flowers (optional)
Fresh mint sprigs (optional) |

A sweet, delicious and tasty drink made with grapefruit juice, ginger ale, cinnamon
and sugar

Method:
- In a saucepan, combine grapefruit juice, sugar and cinnamon
for the syrup; bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes.
- Discard cinnamon; cover and chill the syrup.
- To serve, fill four 8 oz glasses with ice cubes. Add about 1/3
cup of grapefruit syrup to each glass. Fill glass with ginger ale. Stir gently.
- If desired, garnish with edible flowers and fresh mint sprigs.
Serves: 4
