Strawberry Yogurt Cake
Ingredients:
1 pkg white cake mix
3/4 cup water
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
1 container (6 oz) original strawberry yogurt
1 tub soft whipped vanilla ready-to-spread frosting
10 fresh strawberries, cut into 1/4-inch slices

A sweet and delicious cake made with yogurt and strawberries

Method:
  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 2 round pans, 8 or 9 * 1 1/2 inches.
  2. Beat cake mix (dry), water, oil, egg whites and yogurt in large bowl on low speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pans.
  3. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, remove from pans and cool cake completely.
  4. Brush crumbs off cake. Place 1 layer, top side down, on plate. Spread 1/3 cup frosting almost to edge. Arrange strawberry slices on frosted layer.
  5. Place other layer, top side up, on frosted layer. Frost side with thin coat first to seal crumbs, then frost side and top.

Tip of the week
Cooking:

If garlic bread is not available, crush a few cloves of garlic to a fine paste, cream it well into some butter. Spread this on slices of bread and toast it. Serve with piping hot soup.
