Tip of the week
Cooking:
At parties, pour tomato sauce into pastry moulds or cake papers and place on
guests paper plates. It keeps the plates clean.
Health:
Make a pack of raw potato peels, by folding in a wet gauze. Place two such
packs over eyes for 15-20 minutes. Regularly used, this helps in reducing puffiness under
the eyes and dark circles.
Cookery term
Gravy:
1. Juice exuded by roasted meat or poultry.
2. A sauce made from these juices by boiling with stock or wine and sometimes
thickened with flour.
3. Thick liquid made by adding water to vegetables or masala. |
