A chilled relishing sweet drink made from
mangoes and served in jelly mould along with mango pieces
Mango
Jelly
Ingredients:
4 mangoes
75g cream
100g sugar
15g gelatin
Mango pieces for decoration
1 lemon |

Method:
Keep mangoes in a blender and blend to a smooth paste.
To this, add sugar and heat in a pan until the sugar
dissolves. Now add cream, dissolved gelatin and cool it.
In a small vessel, add 1/4 cup water, 2 tbsp sugar, lemon
juice and dissolve them.
Take a jelly mould, keep it in refrigerator for 5 minutes,
remove and apply the lemon juice mixture to the mould and keep it again in refrigerator
for 5 minutes.
Take the jelly mould from the refrigerator, place the mango
pieces at the bottom. Above this, pour the mango juice and chill it for 30 minutes.
Serve immediately.

Tip of the week
Cooking:
Spicy green chutneys, salsa dips, yogurt dips, etc make very tasty in
between for sandwiches. A change from the same old bread and jam.
Health:
Sprinkle a mixture of powdered cardamom and rock sugar (misri) over the
tongue, gums and inner cheeks to get relief from mouth sores and ulcers. Repeat 3-4 times
a day.
